All about Chianti Inside Out

Chianti Inside Out was created by Enzo Minopoli to give visitors to Italy a unique and personal experience of Tuscan culture and cuisine.

Enzo’s captivation with all things Tuscan began when he moved to the region with his family at the age of 11. Afternoons spent in his mother’s delicatessen furthered his interest and when Enzo was old enough, he applied to the renowned culinary institute at Montecatini.

His training continued in the USA, with 2 years cooking at Café Aldo Lamberti in New Jersey. Enzo was drawn back to Italy to chef at Palazzo Belmonte in Southern Italy. Here he met his Australian wife, who had been living in London, where both returned as the summer ended. Here Enzo honed his knowledge of wine with an advanced sommelier’s course.

The arrival of his first daughter sparked a yearning to return to the place where he felt most at home. Enzo and his growing family now reside in a medieval village in Chianti relishing the enchanting lifestyle he remembers as a boy.

It is Enzo’s undying passion and enthusiam for the gourmet delights of Tuscany that he brings to his specialized tours of the region.
